Kofi Annan's Body To Arrive In Ghana September 10, 2018.



Ghanaians are awaiting the arrival of the remains of the former Secretary General of the United Nations, Mr. Kofi Annan, in Accra on Monday.

The body is expected at the Kotoka International Airport at about 4pm local Ghanaian time in the company of his wife and children.

The final funeral rites of the former world peace icon and great revolutionist, would commence from Monday afternoon, with a military display to welcome the body.

The public viewing of the body will continue on Tuesday at the Accra International Conference Centre, where official ceremonies for his burial will be held.

Mr. Emmanuel Asante-Darkwa, a civil servant, said that he was very sad and that he would be paying his last respect to the fallen Ghanaian international icon.

Iran's keeper Zohreh Koudaei accused of being a man.

  Iranian women's football team goalkeeper, Zohreh Koudaei, has been accused of being a man by the Jordan Football Association after she saved two penalties for a crucial win against Jordan.  As a result of these saves in a penalty shoot out which ended 4-2, Iran earned a place at the Women’s Asian Cup for the first time in the country’s history. The cup will take place in India in 2022.  Jordan FA is now asking for a gender verification check. Lol. Jordan FA President Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein took to Twitter to share a letter to the Asian Football Confederation calling for an official investigation into the sex of Koudaei.
