Meek Mill's Travel Restrictions Have Been Lifted.

It's been reported that rapper Meek Mill will be allowed to travel outside of Philadelphia in order to perform at shows. It was previously reported that, under the conditions of Meek's bail, he would be forced to remain within the confines of the county of Philadelphia. According to TMZ, Meek's new-found freedom comes by the hands of the person who has most committed to keeping him locked up: Judge Genece Brinkley. Judge Brinkley amended the order regarding his bail conditions, granting him permission to travel outside of Philadelphia for scheduled business activities. He will also be permitted to live in Montgomery County, rather than being forced to reside in the neighboring Philadelphia County. This doesn't mean that Meek has free reign to go wherever he wants, however. He must submit his travel request for approval 72 hours in advance, and he will be subjected to at least one urine test a month, meaning he'll need to be stringent about staying drug f

Everyone just keeps sending us to the directions of shelters, where they know we will be split up.” They further explain how they have nowhere to go since the current home they are staying at can no longer house them and now they "can only turn to the Internet for help." Jackie has admitted to having an affair with Etta's mother years ago

Presidents Muhammadu Buhari and Donald Trump are currently holding a press briefing in the U.S. leader’s first meeting with a leader from sub-Saharan Africa at the White House. Mr Trump hailed Mr Buhari for “fighting corruption and improving Nigerian trade.” He also said the U.S. “would be investing substantially in Nigeria” if Nigeria could implement a “level-playing field that we asked for.” The U.S. president also commended Mr Buhari for the role he played in securing the release of kidnapped Dapchi schoolgirls. He, however, called on Mr Buhari to do more to end the ongoing killings linked to herdsmen across central Nigeria. Mr Buhari in turn commended Mr Trump for his leadership role in working out a final solution to the decades-long stalemate between North Korea and South Korea. Mr Buhari also promised to secure the remaining Dapchi and Chibok girls in Boko Haram custody. He also said he would work to end the killings in the north-central states. On economy, M

Charlie Sheen Owes Almost $5M In Back Taxes.

'EMPIRE' Actor Acquitted Of Domestic Violence.

An actor on the television show “Empire” has been acquitted of domestic battery in Chicago. Morocco Omari took the stand during a two-day trial that ended with his acquittal Friday. Jurors deliberated for less than two hours. He says he “could never beat up a woman” and that his acquittal is like “an albatross lifted from my neck.” Omari was arrested in April 2017 after a 24-year-old woman who identified herself as Omari’s girlfriend told police officers that he had pushed her to the ground during an argument, causing scratches on her neck and chest. Omari described the aftermath of the allegations as “like a hurricane wiping out your house.” Omari played FBI Agent Tariq Cousins on the Fox TV show. The character was killed off last season.

Five Healthy Lifestyle Habits Could Add Ten Or More Years To Life Find New Study.

New US research has found that sticking to five healthy habits throughout adulthood, including eating a healthy diet, regular exercise, maintaining a healthy weight, no smoking, and not too much alcohol, could together add more than ten years to life expectancy. Led by Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the study is the first comprehensive analysis to look at the effect of adopting low-risk lifestyle factors on life expectancy in the US, a country which has a shorter average life expectancy (79.3 years) than almost all other high-income nations. The researchers analyzed 34 years of data from 78,865 women and 27 years of data from 44,354 men and defined the five low-risk lifestyle factors as not smoking, a low body mass index (18.5-24.9 kg/m2), at least 30 minutes per day of moderate to vigorous physical activity, moderate alcohol intake (up to about one 5-ounce glass of wine per day for women, or up to two glasses for men), and a healthy diet. Missile Strikes On Syria, Kills 26, Mostly Iranian Forces.

Missile strikes on central Syria killed 26 pro-regime fighters, most of them Iranians, a monitor said Monday, in a raid that bore the hallmarks of Tehran's archfoe Israel. The Syrian regime, which denounced a "fresh aggression" after the strikes, meanwhile continued to flush out armed groups from the capital with more deals to transfer fighters to the country's north. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitoring group, missile strikes hit two military targets in Aleppo and Hama provinces late Sunday. The strike on Hama province hit a base known as the 47th Brigade where pro-regime fighters are stationed. Both hits destroyed surface-to-surface missiles, the monitor said. "At least 26 fighters were killed, including four Syrians," in the Hama strike, said Rami Abdel Rahman, who heads the Britain-based monitoring group. "The others are foreign fighters, a vast majority of them Iranians," he told AFP. "Given the na

Donald Trump Finally Hosts African Leader At The White House.

After more than a year in office, President Donald Trump for the first time is hosting an African president at the White House. The meeting with Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday comes after an uncomfortable start to the Trump administration's approach to the world's second most populous continent. Security and economic issues top the agenda for the bilateral meeting and working lunch. Nigeria, Africa's most populous country with almost 200 million people, is the largest economy on the continent and the leading crude oil exporter. Buhari was one of the first two African leaders Trump called after he took power, along with South Africa's president. Nigeria is also one of Africa's most troubled when it comes to extremism. Extremist group Boko Haram launched a violent insurgency in the northeast nine years ago with the aim of creating an Islamic state, and tens of thousands of people have been killed. Mass abductions of schoolgirls brought Boko Hara

Police Free Human Trafficking Victims Across The Caribbean.

A police operation across the Caribbean and South America has freed nearly 350 people from human trafficking networks and led to the arrests of 22 people. Those rescued included children and adults working in nightclubs, gold mines, factories, open-air markets and on farms, international police agency Interpol said Monday. Some were forced to work without pay, or in spaces no bigger than coffins. Interpol said the traffickers took advantage of vulnerable populations seeking jobs across borders. Interpol said that social services and charity groups are working to support the victims. About 500 police were involved in the coordinated raids earlier this month in Brazil, Venezuela, Jamaica and 10 other countries in the Caribbean. They seized computer equipment, mobile phones and cash. "In Guyana, young women were found working as prostitutes next to extremely remote gold mines, from which they could not escape," Interpol said in a statement. In St. Vincent and th

Malaysia Convicts First Person Under Fake News Law.

A Malaysian court Monday handed a Danish man a one-week jail term for breaking a law against "fake news", the first person to be punished under the controversial legislation. The law, passed in early April, makes the deliberate dissemination of false information punishable by up to six years in jail and a hefty fine. It has sparked outrage from rights groups, who believe it is aimed at cracking down on dissent. Salah Salem Saleh Sulaiman, a 46-year-old of Yemeni descent, admitted making and posting on YouTube a video accusing emergency services of responding slowly after a Palestinian Hamas member was gunned down in Kuala Lumpur. Fadi al-Batsh, said to be a rocket-making expert, was on his way to dawn prayers on April 21 when he was assassinated by motorbike-riding gunmen, a killing his family have blamed on Israel's spy agency. The Jewish state has denied it was behind the murder. The Dane, who did not have a lawyer and was wearing white robes and a green sku

It was later re-launched in 2011 which makes it seven years now. “The life span of a satell

Cosby, 80, was one of four people to receive an honorary from the university in 2004, and he spoke that year at the diploma ceremony for seniors from the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences and the Whiting School of Engineering. This is the first known instance of Johns Hopkins rescinding an honorary degree, which the university has presented to more than 480 individuals since 1880. “The university conferred the honorary degree on the comedian and actor in 2004 based on his professional accomplishments to that date,” the university said in a statement. Cardi B Responds To Ex-Manager $10M Lawsuit.

Cardi B has responded to her former manager’s $10 million lawsuit. On Thursday, Klenord Raphael, aka Shaft, filed a lawsuit claiming that he discovered the “Bodak Yellow” star, only to be “frozen out” of her career just as it was exploding. An attorney representing the red-hot rapper responded Friday, (in a statement) that “Shaft’s claim raises a huge question.” Paul LiCalsi, a partner at Robins Kaplan LLP said, “After a full investigation of the facts, we will be responding to these allegations in detail in court. But even on its face, Shaft’s claim raises a huge question. For a hefty commission, a manager promises to carefully counsel and guide an artiste in her or his career. In exchange, the law imposes a high fiduciary duty on the manager to always act in the artiste's best interest, not engage in conflicts of interest, not overreach, and not self-deal.” LiCalsi suggests that Shaft signed on as Cardi B’s manager for a 20 percent commission, then signed her up thro

Two Cameroonians Jailed For Illegally Acquiring Nigerian Passports.

I.M. Sanni, a judge of the federal high court sitting in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, on Friday sentenced two Cameroonians, Ebwe Michael and Ngu Tiku to 18 years imprisonment each for illegally acquiring Nigerian passports. Sanni, however, gave the defendants an option to pay N500,000 each as fine. The judge, while sentencing the convicts, said the court was lenient on them because they pleaded guilty and did not waste the time of the court. He also said the convicts were first offenders. Sanni ordered that if the convicts failed to pay the fine, they will serve their sentences in Nigeria and would be deported after completion of their sentences. Speaking to journalists after the ruling, the prosecution counsel, David Babale, said the first convict, Michael, 43, in 2012 acquired a Nigerian passport without being detected. Babale said luck, however, ran out on him when he came for re-issue in March 2018 with the second defendant, Tiku, 35, when they were caught by a vigilant Im

Rape Lawsuit Against Russell Simmons Dropped.

The aspiring filmmaker suing Russell Simmons for an alleged sexual assault has dropped her claims, according to a stipulation of dismissal filed Wednesday. Jennifer Jarosik in January filed a $5 million lawsuit against the mogul, alleging he raped her in 2016 after inviting her to his home under the guise of discussing a documentary project.  In his answer filed April 4, Simmons argues their sexual relationship was consensual and she often sent him texts saying she missed him and would love to see him. On Wednesday, the parties filed a joint stipulation of dismissal with prejudice. Jarosik's attorney Perry Wander did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Simmons is still facing a $10 million suit from an anonymous woman who claims he raped her after threatening her young son. He says the allegations are "vile" and the lawsuit is nothing more than an extortion attempt. Simmons also argues that the alleged incident occurred in the late 1980s and Jan

Harriet Tubman Will Finally Be The New Face Of $20 Bill.

The U.S. Department of Treasury has settled the debate on how the image of Harriet Tubman will be incorporated onto legal tender, with Treasury Secretary Jack Lew announcing that the slavery abolitionist will replace Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill and not Alexander Hamilton (on the $10 bill) as it had been suspected she might. “What she did to free people on an individual basis and what she did afterward. That’s a legacy of what an individual can do in a democracy,” Lew said in a statement that he delivered to the press in lieu of the decision. While Tubman will indeed take up the front side of the twenty as the first woman to ever head a U.S. banknote, Jackson won’t be completely wiped off of the bill. The bust of the nation’s seventh President will simply be switched to the backside of the twenty so that both historic figures may be glorified. In addition to Tubman being circulated into currency a slate of other important women will be honored come the 100th anniversary of

"He is responding to treatments and appears to be recovering. We will issue additional updates as events warrant," said McGrath. According to a source close to the former Republican President, Bush was admitted to the hospital with an infection that led to sepsis, which can be life-threatening. He was in critical condition, the source said. The source added that Bush's blood pressure kept dropping and a couple of times there was serious concern about whether he was going to come through, but that he had been stabilized. But with Bush's age, his health and with this infection, this is very serious, the source explained. Bush revealed several years ago he suffers from

Canadian citizen Sebastian Woodroffe was found dead on Saturday after having been lynched by a mob in a small village in Yarinacocha. He was reportedly accused of killing Olivia Arévalo, who was shot to death on Thursday. Indigenous organisation Servindi reported that Arévalo’s family were handing out a leaflet with a picture of the Canadian, asking people to share it on Facebook and offering a reward for any help in finding him. “This is the man that killed teacher Olivia Arévalo after making her sing an ícaro (folkloric healing song often sung during Ayahuasca ceremonies),” the statement read. “He found her alone, asked her to sing and then killed her.” On Saturday, local news agency Zona Pucallpa Noticias published a video on its Facebook page showing a crying Woodroffe sitting in a puddle surrounded by a group of villagers, including two children.
