Father Shot to Death By His Son in Scripps Ranch.


A man was shot to death in Scripps Ranch on Sunday (April 29) night. Currently, San Diego authorities are investigating to determine the motive behind the killing.

Around 9:15 p.m. Sunday evening, cops were called to Scripps Ranch to investigate the death of a man who was shot. According to reports, he was fatally shot by his teenage son. As of now, there are not many details about the case.

The shooting occurred in the area of Affinity Court and Scripps Ranch Boulevard. As of now, the suspect is not in custody but a large portion of the neighborhood is blocked for further investigation.

When news of the shooting broke out, neighbors were shocked. As Navwn Arra said, “This isn’t the community, we have a lot of kids here, a lot of families. I wouldn’t expect anything of that sort happening here. It’s shocking to us.”

Right now, it is unclear what the motive behind the shooting was. Homicide detectives arrived at the scene to investigate the matter. Police have not yet revealed details about the incident.
