Kardashians are heading to the Midwest under a cloud of drama brought on by Tristan Thompson.
According to media report, the family is rallying around heartbroken Khloé Kardashian, whose personal rep has not commented on news that Thompson cheated with Instagram model Lani Blair over the weekend in New York.
The family source added, “Kim is expected to fly into Cleveland to join Khloé, and I imagine Kris Jenner will also be there. This is a nightmare for Khloé.”
Khloé, 33, “went ballistic” when she discovered Cleveland Cavaliers star Thompson’s philandering ways.
Kim and Kourtney have been on vacation in Turks and Caicos this week, and haven’t said anything about the scandal on social media, sticking to posting pictures of themselves in swimsuits and images of their manicures.
The source added that the Kardashian family was not completely surprised by 27-year-old Tristan’s antics. “The truth is that he has a bad reputation, they had warned Khloé about him, he’s done this before. But she didn’t want to hear it, she loves him.”
Tristan’s ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig, whom he left while she was pregnant in 2016, commented on the drama on Tuesday by “wishing peace for everyone.”
While the family will be in Cleveland to comfort Khloé, insiders say the birth of her baby girl had been scheduled for Saturday.
However, TMZ reports the reality star is experiencing early contractions — thus the baby may arrive earlier than expected.
Tristan is said to be back in Cleveland, where the Cavaliers will take on the New York Knicks in the final game of the season on Wednesday evening.
