A woman believed to be Cassandra Damper was playing with a gun, when it accidentally went off shooting Devyn Holmes in the head.
On late Saturday (March 31) night, three people —Devyn Holmes, Cadillac Coleman, and Cassandra Damper— were sitting in a car when things turned deadly. They were at a Valero gas station off Southmore Boulevard in Houston, Texas.
The incident was recorded as a Facebook Live video on Coleman’s account. In the video, Holmes and Damper are in the front seat with a gun on the console, and Coleman is in the back seat.
Damper then takes hold of the gun and points it towards the camera. Holmes mentions being “nervous,” and looks as though he is trying to take the gun away from Damper.
However, she pulls the trigger and a bullet struck Holmes in the head. Houston police were called, and Holmes was taken to Ben Taub Hospital. He is reportedly in critical condition and on life support.
The investigation is ongoing, with the case reportedly being referred to a grand jury.
When it “accidentally” went off ha, stopped reading from there. Get real.
