Bill Cosby Arrives At Courthouse For Sentencing Hearing; Could Face Life in Prison.

Bill Cosby arrived at the Montgomery County Courthouse on Monday for a two day sentencing hearing that will decide whether he goes home on probation or spends the rest of his life in prison.

The 81-year-old comedian appeared stoic as he entered the courthouse in Norristown surrounded by police officers.

Cosby was convicted of drugging and indecently assaulting Andrea Constand in his home in 2004. More than 60 women have accused Cosby of drugging & assaulting them over 4 decades.

The first day of the sentencing hearing will focus on whether Cosby should be classified as a violent sex offender. He will be sentenced on the second day of the hearing.

Constand tweeted a Bible verse ahead of the hearing:

“Be wrathful, but do not sin; do not let the sun set while you are still angry; do not give the Devil an opportunity.”

Cosby’s wife Camille Cosby remains supportive of him. In an earlier statement she accused the judge of being biased against her husband.

Bill Cosby was not afforded an impartial judge and he did not receive a fair trial,” she said. “Instead, my husband was forced to go to trial before a judge, Steven T. O’Neill, who had a bitter, longstanding feud with one of the key witnesses in the case, Bruce Castor.
