Meghan Markle’s Wedding Dress Will Now Be Showcased For The World To See.

Soon, visitors of Windsor Castle will be able to see Meghan Markle’s instantly-iconic Givenchy wedding dress designed by Clare Waight Keller at the same venue where the Suits star married Prince Harry on May 19.

The piece become part of royal history when the Duchess of Sussex stepped out in the custom design on her wedding day. The design by Keller is a silk dress featuring a trendsetting bateau neckline, with the overall fabric comprised of a double bonded silk cady and a triple-silk organza underskirt.

It’s the same look that prompted Prince Harry to thank Keller at the Queen’s reception immediately after the ceremony. “He came straight up to me and said, ‘Oh my God, thank you. She looks absolutely stunning,’” Keller recalled in a press conference the day after the wedding took place.

Keller, the first female creative director of Givenchy and a Brit herself, said the entire process of designing the gown was collaborative with Markle. “She is just exactly what you see on TV,” the designer said. “She is just so genuine and warm and radiant. She is just glowing. And she’s a strong woman. She knows what she wants and really it was an absolute joy working with her.”

Following the Queen’s luncheon, Markle swapped into an evening look for her intimate friends and family-only evening reception held at the Frogmore House.

The Daily Express was the first to report the news on Monday, August 20. According to the outlet, the official announcement about the exhibit will be made in late 2018.
