KANE WINS MAYOR ELECTION IN KNOX COUNTY TENNESSEE.



A WWE Superstar who made his name playing "a monstrous abomination" in the ring has been elected mayor in Tennessee.

Glenn Jacobs, who wrestling fans will know better as Kane, won two-thirds of the vote in Knox County, beating Democrat Linda Haney.

The 51-year-old Republican ran on issues like keeping taxes low, improved infrastructure and "transparency".

He is the second WWE star to win public office in the US, following in Jesse Ventura's footsteps.

Mr Ventura was elected mayor of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, in 1990, going on to be elected state governor in 1998.

Congratulations to Kane, I sure hope he doesn’t end up chokeslamming someone in a city council meeting. Lol.

Iran's keeper Zohreh Koudaei accused of being a man.

  Iranian women's football team goalkeeper, Zohreh Koudaei, has been accused of being a man by the Jordan Football Association after she saved two penalties for a crucial win against Jordan.  As a result of these saves in a penalty shoot out which ended 4-2, Iran earned a place at the Women’s Asian Cup for the first time in the country’s history. The cup will take place in India in 2022.  Jordan FA is now asking for a gender verification check. Lol. Jordan FA President Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein took to Twitter to share a letter to the Asian Football Confederation calling for an official investigation into the sex of Koudaei.
