The Boston Red Sox clinched their fourth World Series Championship since 2004, with a 4-1 series victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers. To celebrate the franchise’s ninth World Series crown, WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H sent a custom WWE Championship to the famous Fenway Park.
"The duck boats are ready for the parade, but you'll need one more thing to celebrate like a champion," Triple H said in his tweet, showcasing the belt with its custom Red Sox sideplates.
Triple H, whose real name is Paul Levesque, has tons of New England ties of his own. He was born in Nashua, New Hampshire and is a Connecticut native, living near WWE's headquarters in Stamford.
"From the WWE Universe to Red Sox Nation, wear this @WWE Championship with pride! #DAMAGEDONE," he said.
