Selena Gomez Hospitalized After Experiencing 'Emotional Breakdown'.

Selena Gomez is currently seeking treatment at a mental health facility after suffering an emotional breakdown, TMZ reports.

The publication says Gomez was hospitalized twice in the past two weeks. The artist has reportedly been emotional after "an alarmingly low white blood cell count" amid her recent kidney transplant last year. A family member took her to the hospital as a result of her condition.

She would soon be released but was re-admitted once again. Gomez wanted to leave but was told by doctors she would not be able to. TMZ says once doctors said this, she attempted to rip out IV's in her arms.

Gomez has previously admitted to being depressed and recently said during an Instagram Live session that she's had depression for five years.
