Miss Paraguay, Clara Sosa, faints on stage after being declared winner of Miss Grand International beauty pageant .

In what can be called one of the most dramatic award ceremonies for beauty pageants, Miss Paraguay Clara Sosa fainted on stage after she was declared the winner of a beauty pageant in Myanmar. The beauty queen later revealed the anticipation before the big announcement was too much for her to handle, making her fall immediately after her name was announced.

The first runner-up Meenakshi Chaudhary of India who was holding Clara’s hand at the time was left surprised and could not hold the Paraguayan in time, which made the former hit the ground. However, Clara soon recovered to wave and smile at the camera before she cried on receiving the award. Earlier in the day, Clara Sosa had said she might have a heart attack and might even need a doctor for the occasion.

The Paraguayan had earlier said that if she did get a chance to end war and violence, she would go to the US and visit President Donald Trump. She added that the United States is an example to other countries and that is why her first message would be to be an example of peace, love and tolerance.
