Several female stars joined the masses of women in New York marching in protest for women’s rights on Saturday.
“I am here in the march and today I march for women,” Drew Barrymore said in an emotional Instagram post. “I have two daughters and its emotional to be in these places and in this time in the world and all I can say is do it for her and fight, fight like a girl.”
Barrymore who is mother to Olive, 5, and Frankie, 3, also participated last year in a march — which took place all over the country — the day after Donald Trump‘s inauguration.
Jill Kargman, sister of Barymores’s ex and star of Bravo’s “Odd Mom Out,” also posted a photo holding signs in protest.
Mother-daughter duos including Christie Brinkley and Sailor Brinkley Cook and former “Real Housewife” Kelly Bensimon and daughter Teddy Bensimon were also on the streets of New York.
En route to the march, Brinkley wrote on Instagram,“Today we March for LOVE! Equality! Human Rights! For every person and our environment to be treated with respect and LOVE! It’s all about respect and love!”
And once in the thick of the march, Brinkley captured a sweet selfie of her and her daughter.
“It’s so AWESOME to share this with my daughter! I am moved to tears!”
“Sex and the City” star and activist Cynthia Nixon also posted several photos of her day at the march.
Whoopi Goldberg was also seen in the crowds.
