Goldberg To Be Inducted Into WWE Hall Of Fame Class Of 2018.





Goldberg has been confirmed as the first wrestler this year to enter the prestigious WWE Hall of Fame.

The former WWE Universal champion has been named as the first inductee in the class of 2018, the ceremony for which will take place ahead of WrestleMania in New Orleans.

"Goldberg's unique athleticism, persona and intensity captured the imagination of sports entertainment fans around the world throughout his illustrious career," said Triple H, WWE executive vice-president, talent, live events and creative.

Goldberg retired from active competition after losing the Universal title to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33 having won it two months earlier from Kevin Owens at BackLash.
