Love was definitely in the air as former First Daughter Malia Obama was spotted enjoying the company of her British beau, Rory Farquharson, in New York city at the weekend.
Typical of teens on a date, the two lovebirds spent more time gazing into their phones than each others eyes as they strolled through Soho over the weekend.
It was the first time that the couple, both 19, had been spotted in New York City since they met at Harvard University and became a thing last fall.
Rory first entered the media spotlight, when he was caught passionately kissing President Barack Obama's eldest daughter before a Harvard-Yale football game in November.
Still, distracting technology aside, former President Obama’s daughter and her tall lanky beau – the well-to-do son of a London banker – managed to squeeze in a few hugs as they walked down the street, laughing and drinking water Saturday.
Farquharson also stopped for a smoke.
