'Report Of Student Visa Ban For Nigerians Is Fake News' — US Embassy.



The United States embassy in Nigeria has called on Nigerians to disregard report of student visa ban for Nigerians, saying that such report is false.

U.S Embassy made the call via its official Facebook page on Monday, June 17.

The embassy said whenever Nigerians receive such information, which is being spread on social media, they should always inform others that the information is false.

The US embassy said: "Be advised, reports of Student Visa ban for Nigerians is false. If you have seen such manufactured item on Facebook and Twitter or received it via WhatsApp, please communicate that it is false."
