Tyrus, AKA former WWE Superstar Brodus Clay/real name George Murdoch, was booted from his Fox Nation show after allegations made by co-host Britt McHenry. This is according to a report by the Daily Beast.
The Daily Beast noted last week that Tyrus was booted off his “Un-PC” show after an unspecified personal dispute with McHenry. This week, more details have come out and the claim from McHenry is that Tyrus sent her unwanted text messages with lewd, sexual comments. She says these messages were sent to her on multiple occasions.
The story noted that Fox News moved Tyrus off the “Un-PC” show and onto a new show called “NUFFSAID” when they were made aware of his alleged conduct.
The Daily Beast also cited two sources saying Tyrus was known for his off-color “politically incorrect” jokes and “he’s got a wild sense of humor, if we’re being generous,” according to one female Fox employee.
The Daily Beast also cited multiple sources claiming that Tyrus blew up on one occasion at the “Un-PC” crew because an on-set banner about the Boston Bruins NHL team was swapped out for one of their rival Washington Capitals.
If the accusations are true, there’s some irony in the fact that back in October 2017, Tyrus said the following about men who misbehave at work: “If you are found guilty of sexual harassment in the workplace… I think you should have to register as a sex offender.”
Tyrus appeared on Fox’s streaming show The Greg Gutfield show this past weekend. No word on if the network has taken disciplinary action against him. Neither Tyrus or McHenry have commented on the story.
