Singer Monica Files For Divorce.



After months of denying rumors that she and her cheating husband, ex-NBA star Shannon Brown, had separated, singer Monica filed for divorce after nearly 9 years of marriage.

Monica, who shares a daughter, Laiyah Brown, with the G-league player, filed the paperwork in Atlanta earlier this month, TMZreports.

Monica and Shannon remain on friendly terms, and he frequently visits his daughter at Monica's Atlanta area home.

Monica and Shannon will continue to share joint custody of Laiyah. She is not asking for child support from the former Laker, who earns less money than she does.
