Breaking : Bauchi Deputy Governor Resigns.





Nuhu Gidado, deputy governor of Bauchi state, tendered his resignation on Thursday.

In a letter to Mohammed Abubakar, Governor of the state, Gidado said though he wished to complete his tenure, he lost interest in the job along the line.

Describing Abubakar as “my brother and leader”, Gidado thanked the governor for giving him the opportunity to serve.

He also extended appreciation to the people of the state.

“Ordinarily, I should have remained up to the end of the tenure, but, with the currently dampened spirit and waning zeal as it relates to my official engagements, my continued stay will not be fair and truthful to you as my brother and leader,” the letter read.

Back in 2015 when he was sworn in, he took a 50 percent pay cut with the governor.

He had promised that youth restiveness would be given priority within the first 100 days of the administration.

“There is no two ways about it, we will go into the issue of youth restiveness from day one. We have that as a priority and have mapped out our plans and what we want to achieve,” he had said.

One of the highlights of his time in power was presiding over the state when Abubakar went for medical check-up in Saudi Arabia for 17 days.

Iran's keeper Zohreh Koudaei accused of being a man.

  Iranian women's football team goalkeeper, Zohreh Koudaei, has been accused of being a man by the Jordan Football Association after she saved two penalties for a crucial win against Jordan.  As a result of these saves in a penalty shoot out which ended 4-2, Iran earned a place at the Women’s Asian Cup for the first time in the country’s history. The cup will take place in India in 2022.  Jordan FA is now asking for a gender verification check. Lol. Jordan FA President Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein took to Twitter to share a letter to the Asian Football Confederation calling for an official investigation into the sex of Koudaei.
