Beyonce Bought A Church!

Beyoncé has purchased a church in New Orleans, reports TMZ. The singer is now the owner of a 7,500 square foot house of worship, which was listed at $850,000. It is unclear if she paid the asking price.

According to the report, the church was built in the early 1900s. It has not been in use recently after its "church members" passed away. The gossip site suggests that Bey could be looking to revive the church, but there are no specifics of what she has planned for the property. It's noted that her sister Solange lives in the city. Outside of whatever happens with this new purchase, Beyoncé has big plans for the summer. She'll be heading out on the On The Run II tour alongside husband Jay-Z. If her incredible headlining performance at Coachella is any indication, it should be a show to remember. It has been reported that Destiny's Child will be joining Beyoncé on the tour as well.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have been known to spend large amounts on property. Last year, it was reported that the couple bought a $90 million home in LA.

Iranian women's football team goalkeeper, Zohreh Koudaei, has been accused of being a man by the Jordan Football Association after she saved two penalties for a crucial win against Jordan.  As a result of these saves in a penalty shoot out which ended 4-2, Iran earned a place at the Women’s Asian Cup for the first time in the country’s history.
