Five Years On: Remembering Reeva Steenkamp.

Reeva Steenkamp was shot and killed on February 14, 2013 by her then boyfriend and Paralympian, Oscar Pistorius. The disgraced athlete is currently serving a six-year jail sentence. The couple had been dating for three months when Reeva was tragically killed. At his trial, Pistorius described how they pair met over a lunch at a car racing track in November 2012. The Blade Runner said: “I was very keen on Reeva. “I think if anything I was maybe more into her than she was at times to me. “I let her just take her space but it wasn’t always easy, I was besotted.” She accompanied him to a sports awards night that same evening and the couple spent much of the next week together.

The couple had spent the Valentine’s evening inside Pistorius’s Pretoria flat He later made a frantic call to emergency services after Reeva sustained her fatal injuries. She had been shot four times through the closed door of the toilet cubicle. Pistorius has always maintained he mistook her for a possible intruder.

What a beautiful woman.... So sad she had to die like that... Rest In Peace, Reeva. Ughhh!

Iran's keeper Zohreh Koudaei accused of being a man.

Iranian women's football team goalkeeper, Zohreh Koudaei, has been accused of being a man by the Jordan Football Association after she saved two penalties for a crucial win against Jordan.  As a result of these saves in a penalty shoot out which ended 4-2, Iran earned a place at the Women’s Asian Cup for the first time in the country’s history. The cup will take place in India in 2022.  Jordan FA is now asking for a gender verification check. Lol. Jordan FA President Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein took to Twitter to share a letter to the Asian Football Confederation calling for an official investigation into the sex of Koudaei.
