British Prince Harry and Fiancé Meghan Markle‘s romance will be chronicled in a movie titled '`Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance.’
Actor Murray Fraser popularly known for his role in ‘The Loch’ will portray Prince Harry while Markle will be portrayed by actress Parisa Fitz – Henley.
The royal-romance movie will be directed by Los Angeles-based, British-Bangladeshi film and TV director Menhaj Huda whose credits include another royal biopic, The Royals, as well as Kidulthood, Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
'Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance' follows in the footsteps of 'William & Kate': The Movie - also on Lifetime - about the romantic relationship of Harry’s older brother, William, the Duke of Cambridge, and his wife, Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, which was also released a few days before their wedding in April 2011.
Because Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance will be broadcast before the wedding, the movie won't include that “happy ending.” Instead, the plot will develop around the circumstances of their first meeting, their initial courtship that they were able to keep under wraps, and the subsequent fairy-tale love story and feature scenes of their lives before they got together.
Harry and Meghan were set up on a blind date by a mutual friend whose identity had not been revealed until recently. A childhood friend of Harry, Violet von Westenholz, with whom he remains close, was the matchmaker in question.
The couple went public in November 2016 when Harry confirmed their relationship in an unusual statement in which he asked respect for his girlfriend's privacy and revealed that she and her family were been subjected to abuse due to rumors spreading about their romance.
They were first spotted together in London in December 2016. After that, they made some low-key appearances together in 2017, and their romance has garnered permanent and unremitting international attention ever since. Their engagement was officially announced in November 2017.
