Nicki Minaj has confirmed her secret marriage to her partner of one year, Kenneth 'Zoo' Petty.
The 'CHUN-LI' rapper, 36, announced the under-the-radar nuptials on Instagram by posting a video of their matching 'Mr and Mrs' coffee mugs and 'Bride and Groom' baseball caps.
"Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty 10•21•19." she captioned the post, revealing the date of the wedding.
The wedding comes just over a month after Nicki announced she was "retiring" from musicin order to focus on having a family.
I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, in the box- cuz ain’t nobody checkin me. Love you for LIFE," she wrote.
The now-married couple secured their marriage licence earlier this summer, Minaj confirmed at the time on Queen Radio, giving them 90 days get hitched.
"I have to work on my album and I have a lot to focus on that I don’t want to do the big wedding now. We’ll do the big wedding later," the rapper said.
Despite only dating for a year, Nicki and Kenneth go way back. The pair grew up together in Queens, New York, and were childhood sweethearts before going their separate ways, linking up again in December 2018.
Their relationship hit the headlines after it was revealed Kenneth was previously convicted of first-degree attempted rape, and also served time in jail for first-degree manslaughter.
