Coco Gauff, 15, Becomes Youngest To Win WTA Title In 42 Years.


Tennis sensation Coco Gauff has made history after winning her first-ever WTA title at the tender age of just 15 at the Linz Open.

Gauff, hit the limelight in summer when she beat seven-time Grand Slam winner Venus Williams en route to the last 16 of Wimbledon.

Speaking after the historic moment, Gauff said:

‘I want to thank God for always supporting me like I wouldn’t be here without him.

 ‘It’s been an amazing week and I hope to come back in the future.

 ‘I’ll definitely remember this moment for the rest of my life.’

Gauff is now the youngest to win a WTA title since Jennifer Capriati in Canada 1991.

Iran's keeper Zohreh Koudaei accused of being a man.

  Iranian women's football team goalkeeper, Zohreh Koudaei, has been accused of being a man by the Jordan Football Association after she saved two penalties for a crucial win against Jordan.  As a result of these saves in a penalty shoot out which ended 4-2, Iran earned a place at the Women’s Asian Cup for the first time in the country’s history. The cup will take place in India in 2022.  Jordan FA is now asking for a gender verification check. Lol. Jordan FA President Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein took to Twitter to share a letter to the Asian Football Confederation calling for an official investigation into the sex of Koudaei.
