Five Die As Jilted Lover Sets Ex-Girlfriend’s Family Members Ablaze!


A jilted lover, Deji Adenuga, popularly known as Dakar, has allegedly killed five members of a family of eight on Adetuwo Street, Igbodigo town in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State over the decision of his girlfriend, simply identified as Titi, end their relationship.

The other three members of the family are still battling to stay alive in the incident that happened on Tuesday.

They are receiving treatment at the Trauma Centre, Ondo town, Ondo State.

Adenuga was said to have on Tuesday decided to take revenge for Titi’s decision to jilt him by setting ablaze the room in which the family members stay.

Titi, however, was not in the room when Adenuga struck.

He was said to have poured petrol into the room where the family members were sleeping and set it ablaze.

The spokesman of the Ondo State Police Command, Femi Joseph, confirmed the incident.

Joseph said the police had begun investigation.

He said: “We are on the trail of the suspect, while investigation has commenced into the matter.

“We will soon arrest him.”
