The Federal Government has declared Friday, April 19 and Monday, April 22, Public Holidays to mark the 2019 Easter celebration.
The information was relayed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Mrs Georgina Ehuriah on behalf of the Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (retd.) on Wednesday in Abuja.
Dambazau while urging Nigerians home and abroad to use the occasion to pray for the peace, unity and progress of the country, irrespective of their religious beliefs, also enjoined the Christians to emulate Jesus Christ's exemplary attributes of tolerance, sacrificial love, peaceful co-existence, among others.
