The 52-year-old "Made for Now" singer is one of seven musical acts being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the organization revealed Thursday.
The induction ceremony will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on March 29.
After hearing the news, Janet told Rolling Stone magazine: "Thank you Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I am truly honored and I am happy to be in there with my brothers."
Her brother Michael was also inducted as a solo artist in 2001.
Congratulations, Janet!
