WWE Acquires The WWC Video Library.

According to PWinsider.com, WWE closed a deal within the last month to acquire the video library for World Wrestling Council (WWC), the Puerto Rican promotion owned by WWE Hall of Famer Carlos Colon and Victor Jovia.

WWC launched in 1983 by Colon, Jovicam and Gorilla Monsoon and has regularly toured the Island and airs a weekly TV series Super Estrella. Inthe80s, WWC was a member of the NWA and saw stars like Bruiser Brody, Ric Flair, Abdullah the Butcher, The Funks, Savio Vega (aka TNT), Hurricane Castillo Jr., Hercules Ayala, The Road Warriors, Dutch Mantel, Stan Hansen, Chicky Starr, Randy Savage, Pedro Morales, Rick Martel, Miguel Perez and many more working for the promotion.

Unfortunately, many only know the promotion for the murder of Bruiser Brody, which led to an exodus of major American talents from working on the Island for a time.

The deal has reportedly been in the works since 2014, and the library was believed to have been one of the largest and oldest out there that was still available on the open market. The tapes have already been shipped the library to Stamford, CT to be prepared or use on The WWE Network. The site notes that there is a portion of the tape library that was impacted by the effects of Hurricane Maria, which may cause a delay in preparing the WWC content.

Iran's keeper Zohreh Koudaei accused of being a man.

Iranian women's football team goalkeeper, Zohreh Koudaei, has been accused of being a man by the Jordan Football Association after she saved two penalties for a crucial win against Jordan.  As a result of these saves in a penalty shoot out which ended 4-2, Iran earned a place at the Women’s Asian Cup for the first time in the country’s history. The cup will take place in India in 2022.  Jordan FA is now asking for a gender verification check. Lol. Jordan FA President Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein took to Twitter to share a letter to the Asian Football Confederation calling for an official investigation into the sex of Koudaei.
