Hulk Hogan has confirmed that he will not be appearing at this year's WWE Wrestlemania event in New Orleans. Hogan revealed the news to TMZ on Thursday and shut down the rumors that he would be making a comeback at the WWE event. "No sir. No WrestleMania," Hogan said to the outlet. Hollywood Actor & Former California Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger is in stable condition Friday after undergoing emergency open-heart surgery during a procedure to replace a valve in his heart, according to his spokesman. Schwarzenegger, 70, went to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Thursday for a planned procedure to replace a pulmonic valve that was originally installed in 1997 due to a congenital heart defect, Schwarzenegger’s spokesman Daniel Ketchell said in a statement. Schwarzenegger opted for a less-invasive catheter valve replacement but during that procedure an open-heart surgery team stepped in to replace the valve due to complications. Ms Naomi Campbell who arrived Lagos, Nigeria, Thursday to headline the ARISE Fashion Week (AFW) 2018, went to visit Eko Atlantic, a new coastal city being built on Victoria Island in Nigeria’s commercial capital. Ms Campbell who was in Eko Atlantic Friday to show her support for the Lagos environmental protection and reclamation project, which the new city is being built to achieve, also had a chance meeting with Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari who is in Lagos for a two-day visit. The beautiful ex-model looked stunning as she met the president who was also on a tour of the Eko Atlantic City construction project. Deborah Carrington, an actress and stuntwoman who appeared in “Men in Black” and “Total Recall,” died on March 23 at her parents’ home in Pleasanton, Calif. She was 58. The cause of death has not yet been determined. Carrington, whose stage name was Debbie Lee Carrington, may be best known for her performance as Thumbelina in 1990’s “Total Recall,” where she played a prostitute. In one of the film’s more violent scenes, she stabbed one of the villains before shooting at police with a machine gun. As a little person, she often played a stuntwoman for child actors, including in “Titanic” and the “Child’s Play” series.  HBO and WWE Studios held a premiere screening for the Andre the Giant documentary last night at the Arclight in Hollywood, CA. In attendance were Triple H, Big Show, Hulk Hogan, Rey Mysterio, Jimmy Hart, Mark Henry, boxer Gennady Golovkin, comedian and producer Larry Wilmore, actor Cary Elwes (who starred with Andre the Giant in The Princess Bride), and NFL Network personality Scott Hanson. It's three months to the 2018 FIFA World Cup so, the referees that will officiate during the football mundial have been unveiled. FIFA on Thursday released a list of 36 referees and 63 assistant referees appointed as match officials — but no single Nigerian was included in the list. Six referees and 10 assistant referees from Africa were included in the list. According to FIFA, “the choice of the final group of match officials selected to officiate at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia was based on each referee’s skills and personality, as well as his level of understanding of football and ability to read both the game and the various tactics employed by teams. “Over the last three years, preparatory seminars have taken place for referees and assistant referees focusing on fair play, protecting players and the image of the game, as well as consistency and uniformity”. Ethiopia’s Prime Minister-elect will be sworn into office on Monday April 2, 2018, a statement from the ruling coalition, the Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) said. This is contrary to earlier reports that the swearing in of Abiy Ahmed, 41, had been scheduled for coming Saturday, March 31. “The House of People’s Representatives will hold an extraordinary session on April 2, to swear in Dr. Abiy Ahmed,” a statement by the EPRDF said without offering an explanations. The coalition’s Council voted Abiy earlier this week to replace Hailemariam Desalegn who resigned his post as Prime Minister in mid-February. Desalegn said his decision was to allow announced reforms to be pursued. Abiy, becomes the first ethnic Oromo to become Prime Minister – i.e. leader of government business since the EPRDF took power in 1991. Abraham Badru, the 26-year old son of a Nigerian lawmaker, Dolapo Badru has been shot dead near his family’s London home in the latest round of bloodshed in the capital. Abraham’s 62-year-old father, Dolapo Badru, represents Lagos Island I at the House of Representatives. Abraham Badru, who was given a police bravery award as a teenager for saving a woman from a sex attack, was gunned down in the street in Dalston, Hackney, just after 11pm on Sunday. Paying tribute to his son, Dolapo Badru, 62, a member of the Nigerian Assembly, described his son as ‘quiet and hard-working’. ‘A few years ago a girl was raped on the estate and Abraham fought them off. CBS Television Distribution has set a fall launch for a syndicated talk show hosted by actress Vivica A. Fox. “Face the Truth” is described as a conflict-resolution yakker in which guests reveal their problems to a panel of experts in related subjects who aim to provide constructive feedback. The studio audience will then get the chance to weigh in and vote on who’s at fault in the situation. The show hails from producer Jay McGraw’s Stage 29 Productions, home of the syndicated series “The Doctors” and “DailyMailTV.” McGraw, Carla Pennington, Patricia Ciano and Phil McGraw are executive producers. The 2018 Kids' Choice Awards was held at The Forum in Inglewood, California, on Saturday, March 24 and was hosted by WWE’s John Cena for the second year in a row. Winners who left with an orange blimp included Dwayne “The Rock“ Johnson (Favorite Movie Actor) and Zendaya (Favorite Movie Actress), while Demi Lovato won the honor of Favorite Female Artiste and Shawn Mendes won Favorite Male Artiste. Her return to The Showcase of the Immortals comes in tandem with the establishment of the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal, a counterpart to the male-centric Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal that will feature Superstars from Raw, SmackDown LIVE and NXT.
