BREAKING: Schools To Reopen August 4 For Graduating Students.




Ministry of Education has ordered the reopening of secondary schools across the nation from August 4 for graduating classes.

A statement released on July 27, Director of Press, Ministry Of Education, Ben Bem Goong, said students will have two weeks to prepare for the West African Examination Council (WAEC) which will start on the August 17.

Goong explained that the decision was taken at the virtual consultative meeting of the Federal Ministry of Education, Commissioners of Education in the 36 states, the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), Proprietors of Private schools, and Chief Executive of Examination bodies.

Federal government had initially suspended the reopening of schools due to the increase in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases.

Iran's keeper Zohreh Koudaei accused of being a man.

  Iranian women's football team goalkeeper, Zohreh Koudaei, has been accused of being a man by the Jordan Football Association after she saved two penalties for a crucial win against Jordan.  As a result of these saves in a penalty shoot out which ended 4-2, Iran earned a place at the Women’s Asian Cup for the first time in the country’s history. The cup will take place in India in 2022.  Jordan FA is now asking for a gender verification check. Lol. Jordan FA President Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein took to Twitter to share a letter to the Asian Football Confederation calling for an official investigation into the sex of Koudaei.
