The Hall of Famer, widely-regarded as one of the greatest wrestlers ever, confirmed the shock news on Instagram. The 62-year-old, a seven-time world champion, warned his fans on the importance of wearing sun protection while announcing he has basal cell carcinoma (BCC). Along with a snap of stitches on his shoulder, he wrote: “Goal for 2020 and beyond: wear more sunscreen! Basal cell carcinoma removal scheduled soon. “Another opportunity to remind everyone to look after your health and #getchecked.” Hart has endured a number of health battles since retiring from the ring, suffering a stroke in 2002 and prostate cancer in 2016.

The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim, says the monthly allowance of corp members has been increased to N33,000. The DG made this announcement during a working visit to the NYSC secretariat in Bauchi. He said the increase is in line with the new minimum wage approved by the federal government. According to a statement released on the service’ official Facebook page, Ibrahim said provisions for the new allowance have been made in the 2020 budget and “payment would commence as soon as funds are released by the appropriate authorities”.

The reality star shared a post few days ago to mourn Kobe, his daughter Gigi, and the others who died in the helicopter crash yesterday. She said she was heartbroken by the incident. Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja has found Mariam Sanda guilty of the murder of her husband, Bilyaminu Bello, and has been sentenced to death by hanging. Justice Yusuf Halilu made the declaration while delivering judgment on the protracted trial of Missus Sanda on Monday in the nation’s capital. Sanda is facing trial over an allegation of stabbing her husband Bilyaminu to death. But the accused who was initially remanded in custody has repeatedly pleaded not guilty to the crime. The judge dismissed Ms Sanda’s statement that her husband fell on a broken Shisha pot during a fight on the ill-fated day as a “smokescreen to deceive the court”. He said available evidence proved that the accused stabbed her husband with a kitchen knife with intent to ” kill”. As the judge pronounced Ms Sanda guilty, the accused attempted to run out of the court room while her relatives started shouting, causing an uproar in an attempt to draw public sympathy and soft landing. Kobe Bryant was reportedly killed in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, on Sunday morning.  The 41-year-old former Los Angeles Lakers basketball star's death was confirmed by TMZ. The outlet reported that Bryant was traveling with four other people in his private helicopter when it crashed, killing everyone on board. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
