Ex-Minister Of Petroleum, Tam David West, Dies.



A former Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Prof Tam David-West is dead at age 83.

A family source told newsmen on Monday in Ibadan that David-West died at the private suite of the University College Hospital (UCH) around 11.05am.

According to the source, the octogenarian was rushed to the hospital when he took ill and spent 11 days in the hospital before his demise.

He said that the children of the deceased had already been contacted and were on their way to Ibadan as at press time.

Also, Mr Toye Akinrinola, the UCH Public Relations Officer, confirmed the death of David-West at UCH.

He added that that the former minister breathed his last at 11:05a.m, but declined to make comments on the cause of the death.

Iran's keeper Zohreh Koudaei accused of being a man.

  Iranian women's football team goalkeeper, Zohreh Koudaei, has been accused of being a man by the Jordan Football Association after she saved two penalties for a crucial win against Jordan.  As a result of these saves in a penalty shoot out which ended 4-2, Iran earned a place at the Women’s Asian Cup for the first time in the country’s history. The cup will take place in India in 2022.  Jordan FA is now asking for a gender verification check. Lol. Jordan FA President Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein took to Twitter to share a letter to the Asian Football Confederation calling for an official investigation into the sex of Koudaei.
