#BREAKING: Former Minister of Information, Alex Akinyele is dead.


Alexander Opeyemi Akinyele, Nigeria’s former Minister of Information is dead.

The death of the Ondo born public relations specialist was announced by his son, Constantine Akinfolarin Akinyele.

He said on his facebook page that his father died after a brief illness on Thursday night but did not state where he died.

“With thanksgiving for his life, I am sad to announce we lost our father and grand father Chief Alexander Opeyemi Akinyele earlier today after a brief illness. May his soul rest in peace. He will be missed by his children, grand children, family and friends,” he wrote.

Akinyele, 81, a PR guru after serving as the Minister of Information, later became chairman of the Nigerian Sports Commission.

He was also a former president of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).

Iran's keeper Zohreh Koudaei accused of being a man.

  Iranian women's football team goalkeeper, Zohreh Koudaei, has been accused of being a man by the Jordan Football Association after she saved two penalties for a crucial win against Jordan.  As a result of these saves in a penalty shoot out which ended 4-2, Iran earned a place at the Women’s Asian Cup for the first time in the country’s history. The cup will take place in India in 2022.  Jordan FA is now asking for a gender verification check. Lol. Jordan FA President Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein took to Twitter to share a letter to the Asian Football Confederation calling for an official investigation into the sex of Koudaei.
