Rachel Ostovich Loses To Paige VanZant In UFC Fight Night 143.

Rachel Ostovich was submitted with 3:11 remaining in the second round of UFC Fight Night 143: Brooklyn on Saturday night.

27 year old Ostovich falls to 4-5 while VanZant improves to 8-4.

Ostovich appeared to have the advantage in round one, earning two takedowns, but VanZant, who is 24 and has four inches of reach on Ostovich secured the win midway through round two.

VanZant earned her first UFC victory since August 2016 as she submitted Rachael Ostovich in the second round -- even though the finish was a bit confusing to everyone watching. VanZant secured the submission win with an armbar, though in real-time it didn't appear as if Ostovich had tapped, leading to speculation she may have verbally submitted. Replay would show, however, that VanZant felt the tap on her leg and quickly released the hold.

The submission may not have been the only thing VanZant felt to make her release the armbar so quickly and immediately rush to check on her fallen opponent. In the post-fight interview inside the Octagon, VanZant admitted she felt a pop in the arm of Ostovich.

"I did feel her tap, but the refs say don't let go until we pull you off," VanZant said. "I heard her arm pop a little. Hopefully it's nothing serious."

VanZant (8-4) also said she is hoping for a quick turnaround, and to find a spot on the UFC on ESPN card from Arizona in February.

Iran's keeper Zohreh Koudaei accused of being a man.

Iranian women's football team goalkeeper, Zohreh Koudaei, has been accused of being a man by the Jordan Football Association after she saved two penalties for a crucial win against Jordan.  As a result of these saves in a penalty shoot out which ended 4-2, Iran earned a place at the Women’s Asian Cup for the first time in the country’s history. The cup will take place in India in 2022.  Jordan FA is now asking for a gender verification check. Lol. Jordan FA President Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein took to Twitter to share a letter to the Asian Football Confederation calling for an official investigation into the sex of Koudaei.
