'LAMBADA' Singer Loalwa Braz Found Dead In Brazil.

The singer, who was 63, was found close to her home in Saquarema, Rio de Janeiro, with local police confirming that the circumstances of her death are unknown. Braz is best known for providing the Portuguese vocals on 1989 international hit Lambada, which was released by French group Koama. Selling millions of copies worldwide, the tune and lyrics were based on a Bolivian song, though the title came from a dance style in northern Brazil. While the song was released almost thirty years ago, it remains just as relevant among the artists of today. Jennifer Lopez's 2010 smash hit On the Floor was inspired by the track, which went on to become one of the most watched videos on YouTube. Meanwhile, The Spice Girls mentioned the Lambada in their 1998 single "Spice Up Your Life".

Iranian women's football team goalkeeper, Zohreh Koudaei, has been accused of being a man by the Jordan Football Association after she saved two penalties for a crucial win against Jordan.  As a result of these saves in a penalty shoot out which ended 4-2, Iran earned a place at the Women’s Asian Cup for the first time in the country’s history.
