Ronday Rousey Issues First Public Statement Since KO Loss To Holly Holm

When Holly Holm knocked out Ronda Rousey with a vicious head kick at UFC 193, there was no post-fight interview with Joe Rogan for Rousey, who walked out of the cage after the official result was announced. She was later transported to a local Melbourne hospital and was unable to attend the press conference. Today, Rousey published a statement on her Instagram page, marking her first public comments on her shockingly lopsided first defeat of her career.

"I just wanted to thank everyone for the love and support," Rousey said. "I appreciate the concerns about my health, but I'm fine. As I had mentioned before, I'm going to take a little bit of time, but I'll be back."

In the post-fight press conference, Dana White said that an immediate rematch between Rousey and Holm "makes sense", and new women's bantamweight champion Holm concurred.

Iran's keeper Zohreh Koudaei accused of being a man.

Iranian women's football team goalkeeper, Zohreh Koudaei, has been accused of being a man by the Jordan Football Association after she saved two penalties for a crucial win against Jordan.  As a result of these saves in a penalty shoot out which ended 4-2, Iran earned a place at the Women’s Asian Cup for the first time in the country’s history. The cup will take place in India in 2022.  Jordan FA is now asking for a gender verification check. Lol. Jordan FA President Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein took to Twitter to share a letter to the Asian Football Confederation calling for an official investigation into the sex of Koudaei.
