Kobe Bryant has been inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame’s 2020 class Saturday, joining other NBA legends Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan, according to Sports Illustrated.
Kobe Bryant died in January in a tragic helicopter crash on Jan 26. He had spent 20 years with the Los Angeles Lakers, winning five titles.
It’s definitely the peak of his NBA career and every accomplishment that he had as an athlete was a stepping stone to be here,” Bryant’s widow Vanessa Bryant told ESPN about Bryant’s induction into the Hall of Fame.
