Roince Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye has emerged the new Olowo of Owo, of Ondo state.
Of the 18 Princes who contested, he emerged winner after scoring 14 out of the 15 votes cast at the election which took place at the courtyard of the Palace of the Olowo of Owo.
Prior to his election, Prince Ogunoye was a Director in the Ondo State Civil Service.
In his remarks after the exercise, the Oba-elect promised to ensure peace reigns in the town.
