Pedro Quezada, 49, who scored the $338 million jackpot in 2013, was arrested for the sex crimes involving a girl between 11 and 14 years old, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdes said, according to the South Passaic Daily Voice.
“At this time, it appears there are no other victims,” said Valdes in announcing the arrest, the Daily Voice reported.
The Powerball winner, who was charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and child endangerment, was ordered held pending a detention hearing Wednesday in Central Judicial Processing Court in Paterson.
The 49-year-old is facing more than 20 years in prison if convicted.
