Hello, WWE Fans. Here's the summary and recap of yesterday's episode of SmackDown:
*Opening Segment*
King Corbin is carried to the ring on his throne, where we see Dolph Ziggler is already in the ring and waiting to speak. Ziggler talks about covering Roman Reigns in dog food last week on SmackDown. King Corbin goes on to rant about his upcoming match with Reigns at this Sunday’s TLC PPV. They are then interrupted by The New Day.
*Tag-Team Match*
Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross defeat Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose via pinfall.
*Backstage Segment*
Heavy Machinery gives Sami Zayn a ham as a Christmas gift. Zayn is not impressed and says that he is insulted by it and is also a vegan. We then see Cesaro and Nakamura. Zayn announces that Heavy Machinery will be taking them on in a Tag-Team match tonight.
*Tag-Team Match*
The Revival defeats Shorty G and Ali via pinfall.
*Backstage Segment*
SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley is interrupted by the sound of Elias playing his guitar offscreen. Bayley confronts Elias and Dana Brooke where he reveals that he had her picked as his Secret Santa. He plays her a very non-PG song. He sings about turning down a three-way between her and Sasha Banks, as well as saying that Bayley looks like a boy. Bayley then challenges Dana Brooke to a match.
*Singles Match*
Bayley defeats Dana Brooke via pinfall
*Interview With The Miz At His Home*
Rene Young interviews The Miz at his home in Los Angeles. He recounts his past with Daniel Bryan and says that he has also not seen him since the attack by The Fiend two weeks ago. The Miz talks about his upcoming match with Bray Wyatt and is startled by the scream of his wife Maryse. We then see their daughter is in her crib with Ramblin Rabbit via a baby monitor. The monitor feed is then interrupted by the Firefly Fun House. When the feed ends, we see that all the Firefly puppets are now in her crib. Miz and Maryse race to her room and find her now alone in the crib and safe.
*Tag-Team Match*
Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro defeat Heavy Machinery via pinfall.
*Main Event*
Kofi Kingston defeats King Corbin by DQ after Dolph Ziggler returns to the ring after being barred by the referee. Big E then challenges Corbin and Ziggler to a Tag-Team Match.
*Main Event Pt.2*
Guess what? the match ends in a DQ after Ziggler brings handcuffs into the ring for Kofi to receive the same treatment as Roman Reigns did last week. The Revival comes to assist Corbin and Ziggler by taking out Big E. Just as Corbin was going to dump dog food unto Kingston, Roman Reigns’ music hit and he heads to the ring and begins to clean house. The show concludes just after Reigns gives Ziggler a chokeslam through the announce table from off a ladder.
