A Runner Fought Off An Attacker ,Thanks To Self Defense Classes!

Kelly Herron's worst nightmare came true when she was four miles into a 10-mile marathon training session in Seattle. Halfway through her run, the 36-year-old jogger stopped at Golden Gardens Park to use the restroom. Then, as she was drying her hands, a creepy man attacked her. "As I was drying my hands, I became aware that something was wrong," Herron told Good Morning America. As usual, her gut was right. The moment she turned around, she saw Gary Steiner, a 40-year-old registered sex offender, ready to pounce. "He immediately took me down to the ground, hit both my knees and legs, and then it was a fight on the bathroom floor and I just kept screaming, 'not today m***** f*****,'" Herron told GMA.
