Flair is the fifth star immortalized in bronze by WWE, joining Dusty Rhodes, The Ultimate Warrior, Andre the Giant and Bruno Sammartino. Although Flair's best years came in NWA and WCW, he enjoyed a successful spell in WWE from 1991 to 1993 and then near the end of his in-ring career. His final match in WWE came in a losing effort to Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XXIV.

Two men, one hospitalized in critical condition with gunshot wounds, have been arrested in connection with a nightclub gunbattle that killed one person and injured 16 others, police said on Thursday. The men face murder charges, with more charges against them expected, police Chief Eliot Isaac said. At least three guns were inside the club, and more arrests are possible following the “senseless shooting,” he said. Investigation and interviews with witnesses are ongoing, he said. A fan died in the stands of a live WWE event Saturday night. It happened at a house show in Portland, Maine where an elderly man reportedly collapsed out of his seat in the corner stands as the 2nd match of the event began. EMTs moved the man to the nearest flat area and proceeded to conduct CPR for about 20 minutes -- before taking him out on a stretcher to a local hospital. Police said that the white man accused of fatally stabbing a black man on Wednesday told them the killing “was practice” for a larger attack against black men in Times Square. According to the criminal complaint against him, James Harris Jackson, 28, told a police officer that he had come to New York from Baltimore several days before the fatal March 20 attack on Timothy Caughman “for the purpose of killing black men and had stalked numerous potential victims.” In the end, however, he chose Caughman. As the 66-year-old bent over a trash bin around the corner from his home, gathering bottles to recycle, Jackson attacked him from behind with a 2-foot sword and walked off, prosecutors say. According to a complaint filed in LA County Superior Court on March 15, the statement of claims alleges that Tasmin Lucia-Khan sexually manipulated Ryan Wiik to force him out of the company he founded. He is suing her for defamation, fraud and invasion of privacy. Ryan met Tasmin two years ago, and claims she seduced him in order to make her chief executive of WR Films Entertainment Group.
