Rickman, who is beloved by generations of fans for roles from Die Hard to Truly, Madly, Deeply, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and Harry Potter, passed away surrounded by those closest to him.

Film and theatre luminaries have queued up to offer tributes to the actor, who is due to star in two more films out later this year.
Emma Thompson, a close friend whohas starred with him in films including Love Actually and Sense and Sensibility, disclosed she had “kissed him goodbye” just that morning, describing the “moment of painful leave-taking”.
J K Rowling and the young cast of the Harry Potter films also paid heartfelt tributes, along with politicians and actors around the world.
