"Making A Murderer" Steven Avery Releases Letter From Behind Bars.

A Milwaukee reporter sent convicted murderer Steven Avery a letter asking for comment on the Netflix series "Making a Murderer" and received a three-page letter in return. Avery, a Wisconsin native, spent 18 years behind bars for a sexual assault he didn't commit and was later exonerated by DNA evidence. The eight-part series follows Avery from his 2003 release to his conviction in 2007 of killing photographer Teresa Halbach. The 53-year-old pleaded not guilty to the murder but was sent back to prison to serve a life sentence without parole. He has since maintained his innocence, which is reflected in the note he sent back to WISN 12 News in Milwaukee. Avery wrote in the letter, "The real killer is still out there. British Giant Of Stage & Screen Dies Of Cancer Aged 69.

Alan Rickman has died at the age of 69, saying a moving final goodbye to his friends and family after a short battle with cancer. Rickman, who is beloved by generations of fans for roles from Die Hard to Truly, Madly, Deeply, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and Harry Potter, passed away surrounded by those closest to him. Fans and those outside his personal circle were left reeling by the news, with Rickman appearing in public at first nights and charity events in December. Film and theatre luminaries have queued up to offer tributes to the actor, who is due to star in two more films out later this year.
