Eddie Murphy Confirmed To Return For "Coming To America 2"

According to Deadline, Coming To America 2 will find Eddie Murphy returning to his role as Prince Akeem. The comedian will be teaming up with Craig Brewer for the film who he recently worked alongside for Netflix's Dolemite Is My Name. Murphy was already excited to work with Brewer again. “After many years of anticipation, I’m thrilled that Coming to America 2 is officially moving forward,” Murphy said in a statement. “We’ve assembled a great team that will be led by Craig Brewer, who just did an amazing job on Dolemite, and I’m looking forward to bringing all these classic and beloved characters back to the big screen.” Black-Ish's Kenya Barris is currently re-writing a script by the original writers of Coming To America, Barry Blaustein and David Sheffield. One man in Rio de Janeiro paid the price for attempting to rob a woman…who happened to be UFC strawweight fighter Polyana Viana. He attempted to steal Viana’s cell phone. Bad. Fucking. idea. Viana recounted the events to MMA Junkie: “When he saw I saw him, he sat next to me, he asked me the time, I said it, and I saw he wasn’t going to leave. So I already moved to put my cell phone in my waist. And then he said, ‘Give me the phone. R. Kelly's estranged daughter, Buku Abi, is "devastated" for the women who accused her "monster" father of sexual abuse in the Lifetime documentary Surviving R. Kelly. R. Kelly's 21-year-old daughter, who is also a singer, is one of three children from his marriage to ex-wife Andrea. Buku issued a lengthy statement on her Instagram Stories on Thursday night to address the sexual abuse allegations against her father in the Lifetime docu-series. "I just want you all to understand that devastated is an understatement for all that I feel currently," she wrote. "I do apologize if my silence to all that is happening comes off as careless. Popular BBC Weather Presenter Dianne Oxberry Dies Of Cancer.

 One of the BBC’s longest-serving weather presenters has died suddenly after a short illness. Dianne Oxberry, who had presented the weather on BBC North West Tonight for 24 years, died on Thursday in the Christie, Manchester’s cancer hospital, the broadcaster said. She was 51 and was last on air in mid-December. Colleagues only found out in the new year that she was ill and said they were “heartbroken” to hear of her death. Sunderland-born Oxberry joined North West Tonight in 1994 after a stint on Radio 1 as Simon Mayo’s sidekick and quickly became a favourite for regional viewers. She had originally moved back to her native north to present Saturday morning children’s TV show The 8:15 From Manchester, alongside Ross King. As well as presenting the weather she went on to front Inside Out North West, the BBC’s regional current affairs programme. BREAKING: Police Arrest Dino Melaye At Abuja Clinic.

Officers of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) have arrested Dino Melaye, the senator representing Kogi West Constituency at the National Assembly. He was allegedly taken away from the Police Hospital in Garki, Abuja, where he was receiving treatment, on Friday. He had surrendered himself for arrest after a one-week stand-off with the Police. He, however, suffered an asthma attack and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Although, the Police had insisted that the lawmaker was fit to stand trial for his alleged culpability in the shooting of an officer, Melaye had said he needed more time to recuperate. The Police had not issued any official statement at the time of this report.

Eminem Reportedly Sold More Albums Than Any Other Artiste in 2018.

According to BuzzAngle Music's annual year-end music report, Eminem sold the most albums of any artist in 2018 despite genre. Em's pure album sales totals reached 755,027 units with half of those coming from his 10th studio album, Kamikaze.  The album was also streamed over 760 million times since its release in August. The BuzzAngle Music report also showed Eminem had an overall successful return to the rap game coming in at #4 in the category of Total Consumption only trailing Drake, Post Malone, and XXXTentacion.  Em also rested at the #4 spot in total streams after amassing 2.5 billion in that category. The battle between Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly undoubtedly sparked more intrigue around Em's musical output with his response track, "Killshot", marking the biggest debut of a hip-hop video in YouTube's history.

EFCC Arressts Man With $207,000 At Kano Airport.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have apprehended, for alleged money laundering, one Mr. Sani Abdullahi, at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport. The EFCC arrested Sani during the screening of passengers boarding the China bound Ethiopian Air from Kano, for failing to fully declare the sum of 207,000 dollars (N63,135,000) in his possession. This development is contained in a statement by EFCC spokesperson, Mr Tony Orilade, in Abuja on Wednesday. According to the statement, Abdullahi declared the sum of 86,000 dollars (N26,230, 000) but concealed the sum of 121,000 dollars (N36,905,000). According to the spokesperson, the concealed cash was discovered by the operatives of the suspects after a thorough search was carried out on the suspect. The offence is contrary to the Money Laundering Act 2011 (as amended). Orilade, however, said the suspect had been granted administrative bail and would soon be charged to court.
