 Babashola Afolayan, a police inspector,  on Monday, reported in a Lagos State High Court in Igbosere that a Danish national, Peter Nielsen, was the principal suspect in the killing of his Nigerian wife, Zainab, and three-year-old daughter, Petra. Remember Nielsen, 53, allegedly murdered Zainab and Petra at the family’s residence at the Ocean Parade, Banana Island, Lagos, on April 5, 2018.( I blogged it). Zainab’s younger sister had reported to the facility manager of the estate that Zainab was being assaulted by Nielsen.  The 13-year-old girl, Gift, who lived with the family, reportedly told the manager, Mr Kunle Kukoyi, that she heard her sister crying around 4am. WWE Superstar, Jimmy Uso,  was arrested in Detroit after an incident with police, TMZ reported. Uso was with his wife, Naomi, also a WWE superstar, when they were pulled over by police. Naomi, according to the report, was driving the wrong way on a one-way street and the car reeked of alcohol. She was ordered to get out of the car and was talking with officers when Uso got out of the car and confronted them. Uso took off his jacket and shirt and “squared up” in a fighting stance, TMZ said. After calming down, Uso was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction. He was later released on bond. WWE Superstar, Becky Lynch was once again “suspended” at the end of Raw and seemingly replaced at WrestleMania by Charlotte Flair. The show began with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon informing Becky Lynch that her suspension was lifted and she’d be allowed back into her earned title match at WrestleMania against Ronda Rousey, but only if she apologized for attacking the McMahons. After fielding advice from the roster throughout the show, Lynch came out to make her decision at the end of the night. A woman has been jailed for sleeping with her employer’s 12-year-old son on two separate occasions despite knowing she has HIV. The 40-year-old woman, identified as, Memory Makore, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for the offence. The former housemaid pleaded guilty to 2 counts of aggravated indecent assault for raping the minor on two separate occasions in Harare, Zimbabwe. According to New Zimbabwe, Memory told the Magistrate; “I plead guilty…I admit that what I did was wrong. I don’t know what got into me. I had sex with the boy twice, but I don’t think I infected him.” Although Makore is living with HIV, the medical affidavit produced in court showed that the minor is HIV negative. Consequently, since the last rape occurred on the 31st of January, the minor will need to be retested after 3 months to determine his true status. The body recovered from a plane that crashed in the Channel has been formally identified as that of the Cardiff City footballer Emiliano Sala, police have said. The aircraft, which was also carrying the pilot David Ibbotson, crashed on 21 January, en route from Nantes to Cardiff. “The body brought to Portland Port has been formally identified by HM Coroner for Dorset as that of professional footballer Emiliano Sala,” Dorset police said. “The families of Mr Sala and the pilot David Ibbotson have been updated with this news and will continue to be supported by specially trained family liaison officers.” Cardiff City Football Club said in a statement: “We offer our most heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the family of Emiliano. It all started on Sunday, when Brown uploaded a video meme to his Instagram page that shows 21 Savage rapping while a male voiceover raps in a British accent. Offset didn't take too kindly to Brown openly mocking 21 Savage, who was arrested by ICE agents on Sunday for overstaying his immigration visa. 21 Savage is currently locked up in an immigration detention center, about 3 hours south of Atlanta. Some of the men inside a viral video where a lady accused of phone theft, was stripped naked and sexually molested by having ground pepper inserted into her vagina, have been arrested. According to media reports, the incident happened in Benin, Edo State. It was gathered that the lady had lodged in a hotel with a man who later claimed his phone went missing after their hot romp. The man then dragged the accused to a native doctor around Ugbiyokho area of Ekehuan Road, Benin, where she was summarily declared guilty by a notorious “oracle.” Her denial of the allegation prompted the native doctor and his apprentices to subject her to jungle justice by stripping her naked and inserting ground pepper into her vagina. The incident was recorded and posted on social media. The Edo State police have now launched a manhunt for the doctor, while the other men involved in the dastardly act, are already in police custody.

Popular Indian actress, Naga Jhansi has committed suicide at her house in Hyderadad on Wednesday, February 6th after she suffered a failed relationship. The 21-year-old actress hung herself in her apartment in Hyderadad. Her body was found hanging by the police. According to the police, the actress was alone in the flat. Her brother Durga Prasad alerted the neighbours when she did not respond to door knock. They broke open the door and found her hanging from ceiling fan. Her body was shifted to government-run Gandhi Hospital for autopsy and a case was registered in Punjagutta police station. She was in a failed relationship with Surya aka Nani. THE National Universities Commission (NUC) on Tuesday granted provisional licenses to four newly approved private universities in Nigeria. The new universities include Greenfield University, Kaduna; Dominion University, Ibadan Oyo State; Trinity University, Ogun State; and Westland University in Iwo, Osun State. On Tuesday, the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, presented the licenses at the NUC headquarters in Abuja. Nigeria’s current population is estimated at over 200 million, with 170 universities (43 federal universities, 48 state-owned universities, and 79 private universities).

An Oregon man has been arrested after he allegedly filmed himself raping a baby girl multiple times. Police said Edd Lahar, 30, had recordings on his phone that showed him abusing the infant from June 2018 to as recently as January. Lahar, of Corvallis, pleaded not guilty to 25 separate sex abuse charges in Benton County Court on Friday. Authorities started investigating after receiving a tip that Lahar allegedly had child porn on his phone. Police searched his home on Thursday and found the evidence of sex abuse against the infant. In addition to the phone footage, police also found pornographic images on Lahar's computer, which he had deleted. The victim was less than two months old when the abuse started and it continued until she was nine months. It is not clear how Lahar knows the victim. Grammy-nominated rapper 21 Savage was arrested in Atlanta early Sunday by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, according to ICE spokesperson Bryan Cox. The agency says he is illegally present in the United States. ICE says that the rapper, whose real name is Shayaabin Abraham-Joseph, is a citizen of the United Kingdom, according to Cox. The agency alleges that he entered the US legally in July 2005, when he was a minor, but subsequently failed to depart under the terms of his nonimmigrant visa. ICE says Abraham-Joseph became unlawfully present when his visa expired in July 2006. "Mr. Abraham-Joseph is presently in ICE custody in Georgia and has been placed into removal proceedings before the federal immigration courts," ICE said in a statement.
